Miyoshi no Sato Farm

Located in Takatsuki, Osaka, Miyoshi no Sato Farm is exploring a new model of primary industry where urban life and agriculture are seamlessly connected.

By revitalizing abandoned farmland, the farm creates spaces where local residents cultivate crops together while offering hands-on farming experiences that are accessible to people living in the city. Through these initiatives, it is building a new cycle that connects food, community, and everyday life.

This living field serves as a place where Japan Farm Partner's vision of "a primary industry that can be proudly passed on to future generations" takes shape in an urban-fringe environment.

Rather than separating the acts of growing, eating, and learning, Miyoshi no Sato Farm seeks to weave them together—creating a future where nature and people, communities and cities, grow stronger through meaningful connections.

The farm cultivates approximately 20 crops and more than 50 varieties throughout the year, including rice, vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Its small-scale, multi-crop approach promotes biodiversity, resilience, and a deeper connection between people and the land.

Rice, vegetables, fruits, herbs, nuts, and specialty crops, including mandarins, natsumikan oranges, yuzu, kumquats, amanatsu oranges, Japanese plums, lemons, kiwifruit, grapes, sudachi, limes, pears, apples, bamboo shoots, hops, tea, chestnuts, Japanese apricots (ume), figs, jujubes, olives, garlic, onions, shallots, broad beans (fava beans), pomegranates, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, horseradish, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, and pawpaws, among many others.
